1. Keeping a clean and organized working area can prevent falling at the jobsite.

2. Set up storage and staging areas before operations begin. This will keep working areas cleared, preventing a buildup of materials and tools in walking areas.

3. Identify walking paths and keep these areas clear and free of materials, tools, and other debris.

4. Clean up branches, leaves, and other debris from nature that might be in the walking or working area.

5. Use trash bins or buckets with lids to keep trash picked up. Use separate buckets for used rags and keep those off of the ground.

6. Keep hoses and cords clear of walking areas. Coil excess slack to prevent trip hazards.

7. Have a designated break area and keep this area clean.
