1. Are surfaces kept dry?

2. Are spill kits readily available to employees?

3. Is there adequate lighting?

4. In spaces that there is a collection of debris (lathes, presses, etc.) are they regularly swept or otherwise cleaned up?

5. Are all walkways marked appropriately?

6. If anti-slip flooring is used where spills, moisture, or chemicals are likely, is it clean and effective?

7. Are all walkways free of cords, hoses, ropes, and other wires?
