Utilize the following checklist to determine if your workplace is prone to heat stress. If so, you must provide training, water, and breaks in air-conditioned rooms so employees can avoid heat-related illnesses.
1. Is there a written Heat Illness Prevention Program or actions for heat emergency in any written plan?

3. Is fresh, pure and suitably cool (i.e. below ambient temperature) water available at no cost to employees?
