Use this LOTO (lock-tag-try) checklist based on OSHA standards to ensure employees involved in the control of hazardous energy are protected during maintenance, installation, grain work and other tasks.
1. Is all machinery or equipment capable of movement, required to be de-energized or disengaged and locked out during cleaning, servicing, adjusting or setting up operations, whenever required?
