1. Are shear blades kept sharp or stored in a way to prevent blunt blades?

2. Are pruning shears stored in a dry area?

3. Are pruning shears cleaned off after use?

4. If lubrication is required, are shears properly lubricated?

2. Are employees trained on ergonomic and/or manual handling training annually?

1. Are employees required to wear eye protection when hand pruning?

2. Are employees required to wear hand protection when hand pruning?

3. Are employees required to wear long shirts, pants, and proper footwear when hand pruning?

1. Do ladders go through an inspection before use?

2. If there are power lines in the area, are employees instructed to work at least 10-feet away?
