1. Is eye protection available when power tools are used?

2. Are safety glasses, face shields, or goggles available at grinders, chemical-handling areas, and other sites that are sources of eye hazards?

3. Is hearing protection available for use when exposed to loud noises?

4. Are hard hats available for construction or other activities that have the risk of head injuries?

5. Are gloves available for the use of equipment that causes vibration or potential struck-by injuries?

6. Is proper footwear defined for work with equipment?

1. Are employees provided with UV-protective sunglasses?

2. Are employees provided or instructed to use sunscreen to prevent sunburn and skin cancer?

3. Are long-sleeved shirts and long pants encouraged to prevent sunburn, insect bites, chemical or biological exposures?

4. Are hats with full brims, or are brim attachments, neck protectors, and other shade/sun coverage options available?

1. Are approved respiratory protection such as N-95 respirators available for dusty tasks such as sanding, cleaning, and handling grain?

2. Are all workers required to wear respiratory protection trained, properly fit tested, and medically approved to wear a respirator?

3. Is proper PPE identified for handling of pesticides/chemicals?
