Personal fall arrest systems, including harnesses, tie-offs, anchor points, and lanyards must be inspected before each use. Fall protection exhibiting any of these faults must be marked rejected, removed from service, and destroyed.
1. Hardware: Includes D rings, buckles, keepers, and back pads. Inspect for damage, distortion, sharp edges, burrs, cracks, and corrosion.
