Aerial Lift Work Area Audit for Tree Care

1. Is the operator qualified to operate the Aerial Lift?

2. Is the guardrail or barrier system in good condition?

3. Are there any holes or soft ground in the area where the lift will be operating?

4. Is the operator aware of the uneven terrain to be traversed?

5. Is a spotter available to assist the operator as needed?

6. Is the terrain and surface area in stable condition

7. Will any part of the operation be on a slope or incline/decline?

8. Is the area blocked off to prevent unauthorized personnel?

9. Are the workers aware of any overhead wires that could create a hazard?

10. Are there any overhead obstructions? (tree limbs)
